Dry Cured Bacon

All Pestells Bacon is Dried cured with no added water (which will give you a DELICIOUS crispy bacon). Not giving away the details of our secret  recipe, customers are often interested to know that our curing process takes approximately one week,  using a traditional dry cure which has been carefully rubbed into the pork and left in holding tubs. The cured pork is then hung in a controlled environment, then cold-smoked using manuka chips, before being chilled for slicing.

All Pestell’s bacon is GLUTEN FREE, SOY FREE AND MSG FREE.
